The new Samsung i7110 smartphone which many believe will give a tough competition to the high end Nokia N-series handsets is being showcased at the Samsung pavilion at the Symbian Smartphone show in London.
The i7110 comes loaded with a 5 megapixel camera along with autofocus and sports a stylish AMOLED display which is capable of rendering sharp colours.
The phone also scores high on connectivity as it comes with a dual-band UMTS 900 device which also has quad-band GSM along with HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi.
In addition it also has a GPS receiver, microSD card expandable memory and is capable of capturing VGA resolution videos at an appreciable rate of 30 frames per second.
Some of its other interesting features include the capacity to play DivX movies along with the usual formats like MP3, WMV etc and it also has an FM transmitter.
Though Samsung is yet to announce its price tag, it has indicated that the i7110 will hit the European markets sometime in November this year.
